Stop ‘doing’ Montessori and start living it

When you’re new to Montessori, it’s easy – and quite common – to get sidetracked by the concept of the Montessori materials. They are certainly fascinating objects, and parents often spend lots of time and money either buying authentic Montessori … Continued

Heather,
Just wanted to check in real briefly to let you know how grateful I am for your team. The staff are so loving and nurturing not to mention, young cool and stylish.
My children are transitioning nicely and I’m grateful we joined your school.
No matter what bumps are ahead for them, at least I know the few hours they are on your campus, they are in great hands.

Our eldest daughter has been at Singing Forest for three and a half years and our younger daughter for 7 months. I have been so happy with the school, standard of teaching, quality of teachers and friends that they have made. As a parent one is often nervous of sending one’s babies to be cared for by others and I can honestly say that from the first day the staff at Singing Forest have put my mind at rest. A few years down the line my daughter has a genuine love of learning and natura…
It’s been a hard decision for us to make as both Isabella and Liam are so happy! And it’s been amazing to see how much they have learnt and grown.   I’m particularly fond of everyone at Singing Forest, I feel like we are part of a special family and have enjoyed the caring, loving, relaxed why in which the school is run.  I absolutely love all the teachers and in particular Amy and Diana.  (And of course our dear Fathima).   Andrea you are phenomenal. I’ve had the pleasure seeing y…
Sending your toddler to school for the first time has got to be one of THE most stressful, heart breaking moments a parent can go through, ok not all parents, maybe just the overly protective softies like myself.

From the moment I opened the gates at Singing Forest I knew I had found a home away from home for my daughter. Not only was I able to phone a million times a day to check if my daughter was ok,  Heather completely understood my feelings and emotions and helped me overcome every sing…
We were fortunate enough to have both Jesse & Jenna attend Singing Forest. It is a wonderful, accepting environment where every child is acknowledged for his/her strengths. The nurturing culture encourages each child to develop & grow at his or her own pace. It was a home-away-from-home for our little ones Nicole Dennis
It feels like my baby is leaving a part of his family. It has been a wonderful year for him and I still believe bringing him to Singing Forest this year was a good move and we are happy with all he has learned, just sorry it was so short.
Thank you Heather for the excellent service you are always giving. And May God Pour His Blessings over you and your entire family. We are so grateful to have someone like you whom we can always count on, trust and believe in with our little souls who we …
Emma and Ben are both proof of all the things you and your team are doing for our little ones. Emma started off with you when you were looking after a handful of kiddies at your house, and five years on, she graduated from Singing Forest as a confident, aware Grade R. Heather I believe without a doubt Emma would never have flourished in any other school, as she did at Singing Forest. In her Grade R year, which was a little more challenging for her, you and your team took the time to find out wha…
Dear Heather and all Adin’s Teachers,   An Inspirer, an Empower, an Engager and a Friend.  These characteristics are just a short sample of the many you and your team demonstrate with all of your students, including Adin, every single day. Too often we progress through the ‘ropes of life,’ and do not invest the time to express our gratitude and authentic value for the support you so eagerly share for our growth, as not only for your students at your school, but also as global citiz…
Dear Andrea, Heather and the Singing Forest team
I would like to extend my greatest gratitude for the beautiful work you put in educating and raising my Melo.
She has grown to be a smart and independent little girl. As a result of your contribution in her growth I can relate to the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”  – the Singing Forest team has been such a positive influence in her development.
I’m sure I …
To Heather and the staff at Singing Forest

We would just like to thank you for the great year we had with you.  Caleigh has learned a lot in that year and will miss everybody!!!  Good luck for 2015 and may the school just grow in every aspect.

Lots of love
Doreen Smit
